Greetings ladies and gentlemen!
It is a great pleasure and honor to be elected as president of PPSNYS for 2008-2009. I believe that PPSNYS is a rockin' society with great members and incredible talent, and I believe it's time we let the rest of the world in on it.
Many people think the president "runs things", but really the president is more like a coach; and when the coach and the rest of the team are on the same wavelength, incredible things can happen, and we have a grrrrrrrreat team this year.
Our theme for 2008-2009 is, "Looking into the future - a new perspective". This is a year of seeing things differently, of seeing the possibilities rather than the liabilities, and EACH of our team members is a possibility thinker who is focused on winning -- when you're focused on winning, there's no way to lose.
We expect great things for PPSNYS this year. We expect unprecedented communication with and between our members, we expect a dramatic increase in membership, we expect full support of our membership and our vendor friends, we expect a knock out convention in March 28-31, 2009, we expect some incredible educational opportunities, and we expect that PPSNYS as a society will rise to the height we are capable of achieving.
